Most people cover up their floors with carpets or other floor coverings, but I think a wood surface can make an ideal canvas for some paint effect magic.

In this project for a bathroom, I've removed the tatty old vinyl to reveal the wonderful wooden boards beneath. All that's needed is a variety of colour floor paints, masking tape, a few other tools and lots of imagination!
